Mike Anderson
CHINLE — Funeral services for Freeman Bizadi, 57, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 14, 2011, at Our Lady of Fatima in Chinle. The Rev. Blane Grein will officiate. Burial will be in a family plot.
Bizadi died Oct. 10, 2011, in Flagstaff. He was born Dec. 10, 1953, in Chinle into the Red Lefthand People Clan born for the Water Flows Together People Clan.
Bizadi graduated from Intermountain Indian School in Brigham Young, Utah. He was a welder, carpenter, plummer and maintenance worker. Bizadi enjoyed farming, ranching, horse training, fishing, family get togethers and playing pool.
Survivors include his brothers Abel Davis, Donald Bizadi and Fermin Bizadi and sisters Myrtle Bizadi, Alva Bizadi and Mary Bitsui. He was preceded in death by his parents Stephen J. Bizadi and Irene Yazzie, brothers Edward and William Bizadi and nephew.
Pallbearers will be Felix Benally Daven Holiday, Merle Benally, Eugene Tso, Harry Begay and Bryson Clark.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Catholic Hall following services.

Esther Kinsel-Douglas
TSEYATOH — Funeral services for Esther Kinsel-Douglas, 74, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 14, 2011, at Rollie Mortuary. Harry Domingo Sr. will officiate. Burial will be at Gallup City Cemetery.
Kinsel-Douglas died Oct. 9, 2011, in Albuquerque. She was born Feb. 15, 1937, in Tseyatoh into the Black Streak of the Forest People Clan born for the Towering House People Clan.
Kinsel-Douglas enjoyed being with her grandkids and joking with her loved ones. She liked beaded belts, sewing, listening to song/dance, going to social events and helping people out. She loved her sheep and liked the Dallas Cowboys.
Survivors include her sons Delvin Kinsel and Norton Kinsel, of Tseyatoh, and Lester Kinsel, of Pretty Rock; daughters Irene Yazzie, of Tseyatoh, Priscilla Yazzie, of Gallup, Theresa Kinsel, of Breadsprings, Nora Kinsel, of Window Rock, Josephine Kinsel, of Tseyatoh, and Thelma Johnson, of Churchrock; 41 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Chee Tom Lee, Tom H. Lee, Benny Lee and Joe John Wilson; parents John and Etta Wilson; and granddaughter Veronika Kinsel.
Pallbearers will be Terence Begay, Travis Begay, Willard Bescent Jr., Anthony Slim, Loren Kinsel and Randy Gonzales.

Francisco ‘Frisky’ Gomez Meraz
OKLAHOMA CITY — Funeral services for Francisco “Frisky” Gomez Meraz, 54, will be at 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, 2011, at The Door in Gallup. Bob Mammen will officiate. Visitation will be at 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, 2011, at The Door. A rosary will be at The Door Christian Center.
Meraz died Sept. 7, 2011, in Oklahoma City. He was born March 3, 1956, in Chihuahua, Mexico.
Meraz worked for Western Coin for 23 years and for Gallup Vending. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren, fixing cars, walking, playing pool, going to the pulga and joking with his daughters.
Survivors include his daughters Joann Meraz, of Gallup, Rosalia Meraz, of Oklahoma City, Edna Garcia, of Gallup, and Chacha Garcia, of Gallup; mother Rosalia Gomez; brothers Roberto Meraz and Marino Meraz, both of Chihuahua; sisters Amila Meraz and Alicia Meraz, of Chihuahua; and 13 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Ramon Meraz.
Pallbearers will be Mercedes Mejia, Angel Mejia, Gloria Mejia, Julian Munoz, Sydney Mejia and Yanely Fraire.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Red Hills Office following the services.
Cristobal Santillanes
GALLUP — Graveside services for Cristobal Santillanes, 72, will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, at Gallup City Cemetery. The Rev. Jay McCollum will officiate. Visitation will be at 11 a.m.-noon Thursday, Oct. 13, at Rollie Mortuary.
Santillanes died Oct. 8, 2011, in Albuquerque. He was born July 25, 1939, in Gallup.
Santillanes graduated from high school in Trinidad, Colo. He was a retired custodian and enjoyed playing guitar and liked to draw. Santillanes also enjoyed watching wrestling and liked arts and crafts.
Survivors include his wife Esther Trujillo. He was preceded in death by his sisters Christina Rubio and Auriela Padilla and mother Josephine Garcia Santillanes.
Pallbearers will be Gilbert Santillanes, Johnny Padilla, Anthony Trujillo and Joey Trujillo.
The family will receive relatives and friends at 4 p.m. at the Sage Apartment Recreation Room, 210 Rudy Drive.
Donations may be made to Rollie Mortuary.

Sgt. Nolan Dewayne White
CORNFIELDS, Ariz. — Funeral services for Sgt. Nolan Dewayne White, 28, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 14, 2011, at the Window Rock Church of God. A viewing will be at 9 a.m. Friday, Oct. 14, 2011, at the Window Rock Church of God. Burial will be in Cornfields on Tailman’s family plot.
White died Oct. 8, 2011, in Cornfields. He was born July 29, 1983, in Ganado into the Bitterwater People Clan born for the Waters Edge People Clan.
Sgt. White graduated from Ganado High School in 2001. He went on to obtain an associates degree from ITT in electronic engineering. In 2004 White enlisted in the United States Army. He served in Iraq and Afghanistan. White was a recipient of the prestigious National Defense Service and Army Achievements medals.
Survivors include his wife Alvina A. White; daughters Jayanna Nolynn White; parents Josephine Charlie and Samuel White; brothers Dwight Smith, Travis, Wacey, Wyatt, Coby and Syrus White; sisters Vanessa and Tiffany Smith and Sonya and Samantha White and grandparents James and Angela Charley and Katherine and Henry White Sr.
He was preceded in death by Katherine White and great grandparents Dahasbah and Tom Taliman.
Pallbearers will be Dwight Smith, Travis White, Wacey White, Alex Thompson, Jaron Taliman, Kacey Bluehouse, Neilson Nez and Brian Dineyazhe.
The family will receive relatives and friends at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, at the Cornfields Chapter House.
